【Celebration Ceremony of the Hungry Ghost Festival】
2022/8/26 (the 29th of the 7th lunar month)
The Buddhist sutras tell the story of Mulian rescuing his mother which illustrates how in life, children should not disregard the kindness of their parents and must show respect for their ancestors. The Songshan Feng Tian Temple holds steadfast to this thought in guiding all the living in praying for their deceased ancestors. If you’d like to change your luck and accumulate karma, this is a good opportunity to come to pray to increase the glory of your ancestors and absolve sins, and to dedicate the merits of your sacrifices to your creditors and debtors. We welcome all the faithful to register in advance.

｜Ceremony details｜Please register or make enquiries at the reception desks at either side of the temple during working hours (from 8AM to 9PM) or call 02-2727-9765.

► We ask all participants to wear a mask during the ceremony. Thank you for your cooperation.
► Please collect your offerings within three days of the ceremony, or these will be donated to an orphanage.
