In collaboration with the National Museum of Natural Science and the Ministry of Justice, the Songshan Feng Tian Temple will hold the Legendary Pathologists and Anti-Drug Crime Prevention Exhibition from July 13 onward. Based on the world’s earliest book on forensic science, Record of Washed, written by the father of pathology, Song Ci, the wisdom of ancient forensics is combined with contemporary scientific forensic technology to connect history with the present and showcase the key to criminal investigation. Visitors have an opportunity to operate scientific products first hand, and cultivat ehtir ability to observe, analyze, and problem solve through interactivity and fun. The exhibition runs through November 25. Members of the public are welcome to avail of this rare opportunity to visit the exhibition at the Heavenly Lord Gallery on level B2 of the Xiangke Building at Songshan Feng Tian Temple. Visiting civil servants may count their visit toward an hour of lifetime learning credits.

Exhibition content:
The exhibition is divided into four major exhibition areas, the first focuses on forensic science throughout history, with an introduction to the methodology and scientific principles for finding the perpetrator through ancient and modern methods of autopsy. In the second exhibition area, hands-on displays enable the audience to operate relevant forensic science objects. The third exhibition area, provides and introduction to the destruction on citizens from the introduction of various narcotics since opium during the Qing dynasty, with documentary images of addiction and actual case studies of drug related crimes, as well as an activity that enables the public to experience the harm of drug abuse to the individual and to others, and its destruction of family and nation. True stories in the fourth exhibition area illustrate the truth of retribution for evil and reward for good, to enable the audience to experience ways of avoiding the enticements of drug abuse and to achieve the goal of crime and disaster prevention.
The Songshan Feng Tian Temple hopes that the principles of the consequences of good versus evil will be demonstrated through this exhibition. We also hope that government agencies, school organizations, parents, and members of the public will work with us to bolster a strong network against drug abuse, and raise awareness to prevent young people from falling into the trappings of addition, each doing our small part for crime and drug abuse prevention for society.
